Highlands County Anglers
Our Mission: To create an opportunity for our youth anglers to experience fishing and improve our youth’s skills as anglers through fellowship and supportive camaraderie in a tournament setting. We also advocate for responsible resource management along with bringing public awareness to bass fishing as a major sport. We also like to have a lot of fun!
Our Objectives:
To promote and encourage the sport of angling regardless of ability.
To educate and encourage anglers in the conservation of fish species and numbers.
To encourage the act of safe handling and return to the water where caught with minimum stress of all fish.
To encourage anglers in the protection and conservation of their angling environment and its ecology.
To ensure an ongoing commitment to the fair treatment of all anglers within a tournament setting.
